Why Donate?
With the sudden death of my father, we have gotten behind on progress in raising funds for a stable business venture. We are looking to put together 400+ of our friends and ask them to donate $100 each. This will go toward our “WOOFERS”* and the 20 BnB Tiny Homes on our farm stay. These funds will also be used to build an educational school on farming and environmental sustainability and the importance of the impact that farming has on our lives. This means teachers students, supplies, and classes.
Goat seed plans?
We are excited for the next phase in the journey for Goat & Seed Family Farm. We will share what G&S is all about, as well as where we are heading. Goat & Seed is a family owned and operated 38 acre farm stay. We will be using a full circle farm system, which incorporates all the working parts of an active farm working together cohesively as one unit. The ducks are as important as the chickens. The owls are needed, just as the eagles are needed. The coyotes and the field mouse all play important roles all involved in an intricately woven web of unity. This is what a well-oiled machine looks like. Nature is that machine, and it drives G&S towards a horizon we want to share with the world.

What is WWOOFing?
WWOOFing is our way of getting help. What is WWOOF? WWOOF is a worldwide movement linking volunteers with organic farmers and growers to promote cultural and educational experiences based on trust and non-monetary exchange, thereby helping to build a sustainable, global community. As a volunteer (or WWOOFer as we call them) they will live alongside us helping with daily tasks and experiencing life as a farmer. What do we mean by BnB Tiny Homes?
Tiny Home Bed & Breakfast: This is a type of concept that doesn’t really exist in Washington state, as far as we know. Our tiny homes will consist of eco-friendly off-the-grid cabin homes built for weekend getaways and romantic stays. Did we mention that some of the homes will be ecofriendly domes?!
What are we making?
Goat & Seed will have meats, cheeses, sauces and soaps, as well as an educational vacation experience like none before. Your experience here at G&S is going to be exceptional and life changing. Come out, unplug and disconnect from the rabid weights of everyday life, and relax in a quiet peaceful setting where you are just one thing: You. Some of our classes are available free to vacationers, will teach the importance of being you and loving the land which we are given;how we treat the land and listen to it so we can learn and use it properly to give us what we need most.
