About Farm

Organic Since 2013

1st Generation Family-Owned Business

We started back in 2013 as a city farm on Yesler Way in Seattle, Washington. From that 1/4-acre lot, we’d later expand to 10 acres on two properties in Snohomish County, Washington. After a brief hiatus to focus on important aspects in building a ground breaking and strong working farm, we have now moved onto a beautiful 13 acres known as Twin Willows. With sweeping views of the Cascades and the Snohomish River Valley, Goat & Seed at Twin Willows will quickly leave you awe struck. Goat & Seed now welcomes you to the next phase in farming, one that includes family, friends and neighbors!

We want to be clear the we are currently leasing Twin Willows. Therefore, we are still looking for our forever home of a 35+ acre dreamland. God is so good. This land, when we find it, will be in our family for many generations. Come farm with us!

100% Organic

We practice natural, organic and sustainable methods on our farm. There should be no other way! Our products and animals are all free range and protected from the dangers of GMO pesticides.

Years of Experience

We started as a ¼ acre farm on Yesler Ave in Seattle in 2014. We added WA .5 acres in Edmonds, WA. We grew to 10 acres in Carnation, WA. Now we are in the midst of becoming a full-time, sustainably sourced green farm with more than 40 acres.

Resting

Like taking a sabbath, farmed lands need time to rest and recover. So every 7th year, we let our land rest and recoup the nutrients and characters it needs to stay sufficient and strong, to continue to provide for us.

Environment Friendy

We have learned to practice what we believe. But being sustainable is more than just practice. It’s teaching others those same principles and moving forward as a community.

The Why Not Us Foundation is a community-based, non-profit organization based in Western Washington. Our mission is to inspire personal growth and encourage economic and social prosperity in low-income communities within Washington. We focus on helping individuals and families obtain the resources that they need to succeed, and do so by means that simultaneously build stronger, more supportive communities.
